On 15 – 16 May 2025 was the final meeting of the “Robo STEAM – Inclusive Technologies” project by Erasmus+ at the University of the Aegean, Athens Office – Athens, Greece. The meeting was attended by all partners – IICT – BAS, Bulgaria(coordinator), “Akad. Sergey Korolyov” High School of Mathematics and Natural Studies (Bulgaria), Profesionalna Gimnazia po Elektronika I Avtomatika (Bulgaria), Institute of Ethnology and Folklore Studies with Ethnographic Museum at BAS (Bulgaria), Panepistimio Aigaiou (Greece), Dimos Syrou Ermoupolis (Greece), Universitat De Barcelona (Spain), Republic of Macedonia Goce Delcev State University Stip (The Republic of North Macedonia), SOU Kiro Spandzov Brko (The Republic of North Macedonia).
The primary goal of the final meeting was to showcase the latest developments and present the completed project. The session featured a functional interface designed to facilitate collaboration between the museum and the robot. Attendees observed how to organize and conduct a lesson within a real museum setting, utilizing the robot as a teaching aid. The demonstration included the robot’s movement capabilities, environmental recognition, and interaction with people.
The project was also introduced to teachers from Bulgaria, Spain, Macedonia and Greece. All participants expressed their positive impressions, highlighting the robot’s potential to assist in museum presentations and improve accessibility across different museums through the system and the robot itself. The robot’s applications extend beyond health crises, offering a valuable solution for bridging geographical distances.
All partners agreed that the project should be shared with relevant educational institutions for evaluation and to support its integration into the educational system. A timetable was established for the A timetable for the dissemination activities.
