Presentation of the results of the Erasmus + project “Robo STEAM – Inclusive Technologies”, – 2022-1-BG01-KA220-VET-000089434, Sofia

On June 27, 2025, at the National Ethnographic Museum in Sofia, Bulgaria, an open history lesson was held. During the event, it was demonstrated how the Robko robot can participate in school lessons by establishing a connection with a museum—either nationally or internationally—in both guided and unguided modes. “Robo STEAM – Inclusive Technologies” – 2022-1-BG01-KA220-VET-000089434 under the Erasmus+ programme.

Prof. Prof. Shivarov presented the project and its partners – the Faculty of Computer Sciences, Gotse Delchev University – Stip, North Macedonia. IICT – BAS, Bulgaria, “Akad. Sergey Korolyov” High School of Mathematics and Natural Studies (Bulgaria), Profesionalna Gimnazia po Elektronika I Avtomatika (Bulgaria Institute of Ethnology and Folklore Studies with Ethnographic Museum of (Bulgaria), Panepistimio Aigaiou (Greece), Dimos Syroyermoupolis (Greece), Universitat De Barcelona (Spain), Republic Of Macedonia Goce Delcev State University Stip (The Republic of North Macedonia), SOU Kiro Spandzov Brko (The Republic of North Macedonia)

The Chief Engineer, Mr. Stefan Shivarov, from the lead organization of the project, the Institute of Information and Communication Technologies (IICT-BAS) in Sofia, introduced the robotic guide Robko and demonstrated its capabilities to 8th and 12th-grade students, their teachers, other guests from IICT-BAS, and visitors of the museum.

After the lesson, students who had additional questions asked them to the robot project team and were given the right to control the robot.
