Work package n°5 - Digital Content

Start Date

01/09/2024

End Date

31/05/2025

WP5 the team will conduct a train-the-trainer activity (A5) and use it as a kick-off event for a new community of practice. It will involve teachers – from various educational levels and cultural institutions so that the mix can boost the innovation process and build awareness of the importance of co-creation based on inclusion and diversity in all fields of education.

WP5 will promote STEM in creating digital content on cultural heritage as a demo subject. The project results are not limited to a single field. The ST(R)EAM IT platform can be used in all fields of education, culture, youth, and sports to explore places, participate in events, and conduct observations and research. It will be a powerful innovative tool that will empower and motivate the students (from all educational levels, piloting it in VET).

Digital Content supporting activities will focus on digitization of the museum exhibits, content, and processes. The initial stages of the project should include a set of extended research activities towards the acquisition of knowledge and information regarding the museum’s content and processes, data collection, and documentation. These will be followed by the digitization of the museum exhibits, content, and processes, the optimization and archival of this content, and finally its delivery and dissemination. These activities can be described in more detail by the following tasks.

Additionally, the WP5 will build a teacher-trainer community of practice that will contribute to the dissemination and sustainability of the project result.
