On 06.06. 2025 in PMG-Blagoevgrad Mrs. Irena Sandeva held an open lesson in Bulgarian language and Literacy, which demonstrated how the robot Robko can participate in school lessons by providing a connection with a museum in the country or abroad in the mode with and without a guide, in this case with the National Ethnographic Museum, in the case of the Ethnographic Museum in Sofia. PMG-Blagoevgrad is one of the main partners of the 3-year Erasmus+ project “Robo STEAM – Inclusive Technologies”, which is coming to an end and which also involves universities, high schools and museums from Bulgaria, Greece, North Macedonia and Spain.
The chief engineer Mr. Stefan Shivarov, from the project’s lead organization, the Institute of Information and Communication Technologies (IICT – BAS), Sofia, visited us to present the Robko robotic guide and to give a demonstration of its capabilities to students and teachers of PMG-Blagoevgrad, as well as teachers from other schools in the city and from North Macedonia, parents and other guests.
After the lesson, anyone who wished could ask additional questions to the creator of the robot and command the robot in the improvised museum of the Primary School “Akad. Sergey Korolyov”, which of course delighted the students the most.
